Reaching Boracay Island now is very accessible by land, sea and air transportations. Tourist can fly either to Caticlan or Kalibo. Flying into Caticlan by Asian Spirit or Seair or you can charter your own private plane with Air Ads for an experience of a lifetime. Flying into Kalibo, Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific have daily flights to Manila and some other destinations. Once in Kalibo, a one and a half hours bus, van or jeepney ride through picturesque surroundings will take you to Caticlan, from where all bancas (outriggers) depart for Boracay Beach. Landing in Caticlan , you have the choice of either hiring a tricycle, or walking to the pier. Travel by sea is through a ferry. MBRS Lines has scheduled trips from Manila to Caticlan. Other option is the WGA Superferry lines, travels from Manila to Dumaguit. And now there are more vessels offering fast and economical way to travel by sea as the government administration introduced the first connecting trips to some tourist destination islands for the most convenient to travellers.
